About Vanessa!

Vanessa Buentello is a Texas-based photographer, videographer, and creative working across sports, editorial, and digital media.

Vanessa began her career in sports photography as a teenager before studying public relations at Texas State University. While at Texas State, she worked for The University Star, eventually serving as Multimedia Editor, and worked with Texas State Athletics and Texas State Football creating photo and social content.

Today, Vanessa serves as the Director of Digital Content and Communications for a professional soccer team, leading the club’s digital content, social media, and communications. She also works with Major League Baseball as an MiLB Live Content Creator, producing real-time photo, video, and social content during games.
